Introducing the Haslingden Squash Club
The Haslingden Squash Club is friendly and informal and is open to all squash players regardless of ability or experience.
It exists to enable players to play several different players and get good squash playing experience.
It doesn't matter if you're a total beginner or have been playing for years, the squash league is open and useful to all players, as players of all standards are currently included in the league.
The club runs a box league system, with several divisions of 5 players, so each player has 4 league games to play every calendar month.
July and December are set aside as 'challenge months' where any player can challenge any other player higher up in the league. If a challenge is successful, then the challenger jumps up the table to be above the opponent.
Joining the club is easy. You can get a form from reception and leave it with the staff at the desk with a 5 pound joining fee. You can also print off your own form here. After joining your name will be in the league at the beginning of the next calander month.
The club also runs 2 teams for more experienced players which compete with other teams in East Lancs and North Manchester.
